Last Thursday, the Rashid Abdulrahman Al Zayani Charity Foundation donated a bus to the Centre for Special Educational Services for Children (Tafaul), in order to strengthen the principles of community partnership and to support purposeful charitable projects serving children with disabilities. The Mabara handed over a Hyundai minibus at a ceremony held at the Tafaul Centre in the city of Hidd.
The handover ceremony was attended by Mr Omar Abdulaziz Ayoub, director of the Rashid Al Zayani Mabara, who was received by Mr Ibrahim Abdulla Al Braheem, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tafaul Centre, and Mrs Haifa Ali Marzooq, director of the Tafaul Centre, as well as Mr Ramzi Al Qallaf, the former municipal representative for the city of Hidd.
The director of the Mabara, Mr Omar Ayoub, expressed his pride in providing help to the Tafaul Centre for the distinguished charitable services it offers the children in its care, and for its success in integrating a number of them into mainstream education, stressing that supporting this group in society is among the Mabara's highest priorities.
For his part, Mr Ibrahim Abdulla Al Braheem praised this generous donation, which will make it easier for students to travel to and from the centre. The director of the centre in turn thanked the director of the Mabara for the continued support the Mabara gives to the Tafaul Centre. During the ceremony, the parties also discussed ways of working together, between the Mabara, the centre and other bodies concerned with serving our children with special needs, in the hope that the journey of giving by this distinguished national institution will continue in the service of the local community.
