The Governor of the Northern Governorate, Ali bin Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, received Hamed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Chairman of the Board of the Rashid Al Zayani Mabara, and Ali bin Hasan Mahmood, Chairman of the Hasan Mahmood Trading Group, and reviewed with them a number of projects the governorate intends to carry out as part of the Buyoot charity project in cooperation with the private sector.
At the start of the meeting, the Governor welcomed his guests and thanked them for their commitment to partnership in the Buyoot charity project, which the Northern Governorate launched more than two years ago. He valued the readiness of businessmen to support projects of this kind, which help strengthen national ties and community cohesion, which have social and security dimensions, and which respond to the needs of the governorate's residents in general and of people of determination and families in need in particular.
For his part, Hamed bin Rashid Al Zayani expressed his sincere thanks to the Northern Governorate for giving the Al Zayani Mabara the opportunity to contribute to the Buyoot charity project that the governorate is carrying out. He considered that projects of this kind open up further horizons for giving in the charitable work the Mabara has pursued since it was founded, and stressed the importance of private sector participation in such charitable works out of a sense of social responsibility and in order to deepen community ties and national unity. He noted that the Mabara carries out a range of charitable projects across all areas of the Kingdom in order to improve the circumstances of Bahraini families and their living environment, providing a decent life and achieving social solidarity.
Ali bin Hasan Mahmood likewise expressed his readiness to support the Buyoot charity project, which brings happiness to families in need.
During the meeting it was agreed to carry out four projects within the Buyoot charity project in various towns and villages of the Northern Governorate, in cases described as urgent and critical. The meeting was attended by Omar Ayoub, director of the Rashid Al Zayani Mabara; Essam Al Khayat, Head of Investment Development at the Northern Governorate; Sharif Abdulla, Head of Services Follow-up and Research at the Northern Governorate; and the team responsible for following up the Buyoot charity project at the Northern Governorate.
