Hifth Al Neama Society (Food Bank)

The Rashid Al Zayani Foundation works with the food bank (Hifth Al Neama Society) to tackle the issue of food waste in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Through this partnership we aim to reduce food waste significantly by means of field work and awareness campaigns, and our work focuses on how food resources can be redistributed so that they reach those in need.

Tafaul Centre

Tafaul Centre

Helping children who face learning difficulties is one of the most important areas of focus for the Rashid Al Zayani Foundation. The Tafaul Centre is one of the leading centres in the Kingdom of Bahrain in providing free help and therapy to children with autism and learning difficulties, and it has succeeded in integrating a number of students into mainstream education and giving them the chance to live a normal life. Through this partnership we also aim to raise public awareness of the difficulties and challenges these children and their families face, and of how their circumstances can be improved.

Faris Al Fursan Centre

Faris Al Fursan Centre

The Rashid Al Zayani Foundation works with the Faris Al Fursan Centre to provide a dedicated programme for children with autism and ADHD, offering therapy that aims to help them regulate their behaviour and to learn through working with horses. It is the only programme of its kind in the Kingdom and has proved its worth since it began in 2018. The programme also gives children with autism and ADHD a rare opportunity to have an after-school activity that helps release their positive energy and eases the load carried by their families.

Bahrain Society for the Protection of Migrant Workers

Bahrain Society for the Protection of Migrant Workers

The Rashid Al Zayani Foundation works together with the Bahrain Society for the Protection of Migrant Workers to help migrant workers in the Kingdom of Bahrain, through support and assistance campaigns and by raising awareness of the issues affecting low-income migrant labour. It also helps make workers aware of their rights and of how to deal with any problems they may face during their employment.
